Particula Observatory Houses
The Purpose of the project is "To Maximize The View and Minimize The Footprint"  for the site's interventions.
Based on the inspiration from the Building typology " Pitched roofs " in Roccascalegna village , merged with the view aspect , history preservance and landscape involvement.

Respecting the fortress view Observatory houses are placed away from its panoramic view, avoiding view disturbance for visitors and residents of the observatory houses.
The picturesque view  of the fortress is framed, so designing a space with this frame became the module designed in each prototype. Emphasizing this view frame; observatory houses are directed towards the fortress in a radial grid. The surrounding landscape of the Majella mountain view is provided in living spaces and the logia.
The fortress location at the highest topographical point in the project's site; suggested a reuse of the castle's plaza as a sky lounge.

History revival is acquired by reusing the oven tower (One of the fortress's tower) as a didactic observation area.

The project's units are designed to be in harmony with the topographical nature of the site, all covered in reflective glass facade; creating a homogeneous scenery view.

An overhanging ramp is designed throughout the diversified wild nature. The ramp facilitates landscape involvement for disabled. With 360 degree spiral ramps and observatory view ports; panoramic view experience is enriched. The final destination for this observatory overhanging journey is the fortress; highlighting its significance.

In terms of minimizing the footprint; all constructions are raised on wooden structures with base isolation; leaving a room for plants and wildlife, as well as better absorption of rain and snow runoff. It also serves as a resistant to earthquakes seismic movements.

Another purpose of the project is sensitively dealing with nature, context and culture where interventions add to the site's value and not self-serving the user.
